Agent Anonymoose, the best secret agent in the Big Wood, is back in this second installment of O' Hara's brilliant series featuring a whole host of woodland characters. In this second book, someone is putting the squeeze on the creatures of the wood, literally and metaphorically. Thanks to Not-Quite-Special Agent Owlfred and Anonymoose's grandma, the mystery is soon concluded and the crime wave ends.
These books are an incredibly firm favourite in our house, in part due to their captivating plots but also for their warm-hearted and humorous characters. These form a wonderful series for younger readers that carries a strong message of teamwork and doing the right thing. Thanks to Scholastic for the ARC in return for an honest review. Five stars!
